If you are not familiar with TEDTalk series you are missing out. There are literally hundreds of short videos on every topic you can imagine. This particular TEDTalk is from David Kelley of IDEO and the d.school at Stanford. IDEO is famous, among many other things, for developing the computer mouse.
We tend to categorize people in our society into our boxes. Either you are a creative person or you are not. This is wrong, now more than ever creativity is essential. Take for example the military. Not a place where you traditionally think of creative minds. The reality is the most successful leaders are constantly taking the lead on outside the box thinking, just like any other business.
